What to order, and when
Every chapter order runs on a deadline someone else set. These pages cover what chapters actually wear for each one, how far ahead to order, and what it costs — so you can plan backwards from the date instead of guessing.
Bid day shirts and outfits
Most chapters wear a matching printed tee or tank on bid day, in chapter colors, with the letters or the year's theme on the front — one shirt for the new member class and often a second design for the actives. Order two to three weeks before bid day so the shirts arrive before recruitment week starts, not during it.
Big little reveal shirts and gifts
The reveal shirt is usually a matching pair: one that says "big" and one that says "little", in the family's colors, printed with a theme the big picks. Because it is a pair and not a chapter order, you only need two — which is why the no-minimum part matters more here than anywhere else.
Greek recruitment apparel
Recruitment apparel is a set, not a shirt: most chapters print one top per round, so the actives are visibly coordinated on each day of rush without wearing the same thing four days running. Two to four designs is typical, and they need to arrive together — order the whole set at once, at least three weeks out.
Sorority philanthropy shirts
A philanthropy shirt puts the cause first and the chapter second — the charity's name or the event name on the front, the chapter's letters small on the sleeve or the back. That is the design that people outside the chapter will actually buy and wear, which is the whole point of selling them.
